Falcate Orangetip

This is one of the first butterflies of the year to appear. I have seen them as early as mid February. Only the males have the orange tips. On the floodplain of my creeks, Etowah County, Alabama (IMG_2480)
Pam J, have particularly liked this photo

I saw a female this weekend. They are terrors to catch on camera !!
Seen 4 Little Yellows too who are also declining to SIT
Also saw another.. distant.. "looked" like a Phaon ?? maybe !
We now have a big storm system coming in.... so its a case of battening down.
Ceropegia club has replied to Pam J clubI have seen a couple of yellows too, but didn't have a camera handy, plus they didn't seem to want to hold still for long.
