Trilliums

A patch of sessile flowered trilliums growing in my woods in March 2007 in Etowah County, Alabama. I don't know which this one is but I suspect it is either trillium sessile (common name - toadshade or red trillium) or trillium cuneatum (common name - Sweet Betsy). (2007_0323 0009)
