Comma
Polygonia comma - This is one of the angled-wing butterflies. I did not get a good look at the back, but I think this is the fall color version of the Comma. The adults overwinter and come out in the spring which I believe this one has done. I saw it in my woods in Etowah County, Alabama in April 2010. (DSC08337)
