Kloster Ettal (PiP)

Das Kloster Ettal (hier der Blick auf die Basilika) wurde als Benediktinerabtei im Jahr 1330 gegründet. Bis 1370 erfolgte der Bau der Klosterkirche. Zur Klosteranlage gehören heute unter anderem auch ein Gymnasium, ein Internat (wird 2024 geschlossen), ein Hotel, ein Klosterladen, eine Brauerei, eine Liqueurmanufaktur und ein Restaurant. Ca. 30 Benediktinermönche leben im Kloster.
