Russische Kapelle - HFF
Die 1916 in Slowenien, auf der nördlichen Seite des Vršičpasses, errichtete Kapelle wurde zum Gedenken an russische Kriegsgefangene errichtet. Diese wurden zum Bau des Vršičpasses zwischen Kranjska Gora und dem Soča-Tal eingesetzt und kamen bei einem Lawinenabgang ums Leben. Eine genaue Anzahl der Todesopfer gibt es nicht. Es sollen zwischen 110 bis 300 gewesen sein.
