This collage was designed as a greetings card for a former Royal Navy seaman, who had served on one of the ships, HMS Ramilles & HMS Roberts, from which these two guns had been preserved.

There are very few of these large exhibits now in the London part of the Imperial War Museum. The First World War gallery was closed to admissions, temporarily for about three hours, due to high demand and fears of overcrowding, so we didn't see what was in there. As we, a grandson and I, were there during his half-term holiday and the weather was attracting even more tourists than usual, plus the WW1 centenary effect, I suppose, the place was unbearably crowded. Being in central London doesn't help in that respect, as everywhere there was crowded.
