It was only about 3-4 minutes walk from the Vicarage, across the A38 and down to the end of Springfield Road, so we went over quite often to watch the postman set up the bag on the 'gallows' and then see it whisked off by the net, that was swung out from the TPO's side. The reverse was also happening, with the leather bag hanging off the train being caught by a large net on the trackside.
