This museum had survived fairly precariously for a number of years. Although plans to reopen it were being worked on, it appears that these have been thwarted by the area becoming part of the Cross Rail programme.

19.11.2012 - Spurred on by a sudden interest in other Y5 photos in my Photostream, I realised that I hadn't tagged this photo very well or included LNER Y5 in its title. I then got to wondering where it now was. Answer - thanks to a quick Google - The Flour Mill Engineering Works at Lydney in Gloucestershire, where it awaits restoration.
