Sports - many and various

The promenade running track was the least segregated section of the Triathlon. This area has a cafe kiosk to the left and a decked seating area to the right. The public toilets are round the back. The promenade was open to all its regular users - walkers, cyclists, people with dogs, families with young children and buggies etc. etc. However the majority of the prom is wide and uncluttered enough to give a fairly clear run. There were several different standards and durations of race going on at the same time. So these athletes were running 2.5km, while the Olympic types were doing their 1500metre swim. The Crouch is the name of a small park in Seaford, East Sussex. I can't remember the origin of the name. So the club's name is not derived from a style or technique of bowling!

'The Salts' is the town's main and most central recreation ground.

I usually resent the noise of the basic light aircraft when they snarl around doing aerobatics over our town and the countryside around it. This biplane wasn't as noisy and was a whole lot more attractive to look at.

This was, I believe, the winner of the Olympic class, in this year's Triathlon. He was certainly out in front by quite a margin in the final, running, stage.
