The promenade running track was the least segregated section of the Triathlon. This area has a cafe kiosk to the left and a decked seating area to the right. The public toilets are round the back. The promenade was open to all its regular users - walkers, cyclists, people with dogs, families with young children and buggies etc. etc. However the majority of the prom is wide and uncluttered enough to give a fairly clear run. There were several different standards and durations of race going on at the same time. So these athletes were running 2.5km, while the Olympic types were doing their 1500metre swim.
There is a separate album of Triathlon photos in this folder.
