This building now houses the local Heritage Centre, hosting exhibitions, events and activities related to the district's history.
I visited Uckfield for a model railway exhibition, on a Sunday. The Centre only opens on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, so I could see inside it.

Phil Sutters club has replied to sea-herdorf clubI don't know whether you can see a translation into German. Historic England's list mainly gives architectural information for most buildings. Only the more important historic buildings get a fuller description. The photographs are often provided by amateur photographers, like me, on a voluntary basis.
