Blanket 02

'Blanket' is one of the 'patterns' that one can apply to a layer in Photoshop Elements. Having applied it and 'simplified' the layer, the resulting striped image can then be sliced into strips, or other shapes, and distorted, in this case using 'distort/sheer'. The colour can also be changed using functions in the enhance menu,The paler background was distorted using a small amount of the 'twirl' distort effect.
