Lewes - The Church of Saint Michael - The East Window by Marguerite Douglas-Thompson - 1987

This has been described as an abstract work. There are however shapes and colours that convey an impression of the battle of good and evil, in which Saint Michael and the good angels defeat Satan and the evil ones.
February 2019 - I have now read that this is a depiction of the coming of the Holy Spirit to the disciples at Pentecost
