Burrington Station closed to passengers in 1931 - photographed 11.6.1957

This north Somerset branch station still had goods services until 1950. The branch ran from Yatton to Blagdon. Its earliest days were its busiest, when it was used in the building of the Blagdon reservoir. Colin Maggs "Branch Lines of Somerset" gives the whole story.
