The view from Seaford Head of Seaford and Newhaven. Apart from the breakwaters at Splash Point below the headland and at the entrance to Newhaven Harbour, the beach has no physical protection from erosion. The shingle is redistributed by diggers, huge lorries and bulldozers, several times a year.
