A quiet spot between Great & Little Langdale

Just by the cattle grid, having come up the twisty steep road from Great Langdale

The view from the Dungeon Ghyll to Blea Tarn road

Just 'cos it's hazy, that's no reason not to be taking pictures. I was stopping every minute or so for another photo (and so was everyone else on the road), although you have to still leave space for others to get past.

These make route-finding easy - in more remote areas, things are a little trickier.

The River Brathay has widened a little after coming through Skelwith Force

Well, it was a lovely day and the view's not bad

On the peaceful riverside path near Chapel Stile

Approximately halfway round a walk from Elterwater (which is just over the hill - to the right - not straight over the top!)
