John Lewis Roof Garden
Folder: London
To celebrate their 150th anniversary, John Lewis have set up a temporary roof garden at the Oxford Street flagship store. It's well worth a quick visit if you've had enough of the crowds at street level
Flower skyline
This is the view towards the south-east. Unfortunately, the store isn't really high enough to get great views, as it's pretty well hemmed-in by the surrounding buildings
Hoverfly at work
The roof garden has attracted plenty of hoverflies, despite the altitude
Higher than the Shard
The shard is the spire to the left of the plant
Shed on the roof
There's a few notices about explaining the John Lewis philosophy at their Leckford Estate in Hampshire
Up Oxford Street
You can just see over the edge and check out the crowds and the traffic 6 stories below
