A dry summer

World Photography Day 19th August 2022

Just like much of Europe, the UK has had a very dry summer, particularly in the South of England. I had hoped to get a photo which emphasised this drought but, not only has there been some rain this week, it also rained on this very day (as you can probably tell from the dark clouds).

isn't that kind of bad joke ? you wanted to show the drought and on that very day the rain comes ! nevertheless it's a great photo for WPD

How nice it wasn't too far. I find many people have their 'nature' place they go to for photographing. I am much more random then that!
