As I type. we have torrential rain.. and more coming till mid week at least with more storms..

This is an absolutely gorgeous photo Pam, you have captured the butterfly and flies having a great feast on the nectar - fantastic - how lucky that the butterfly is yellow to match the flowers.

So sorry to hear of your awful weather - it's amazing how the weather is so strong and different in various places - but all at the same time - my daughter is sweltering in 90F heat in her part of Turkey, yet only 3 hours up the road, they've had horrendous hailstorms and destructive flooding - it's staggering. We have had the coldest May for years - it's only 55F here when it should be around the 68F mark. It's the ice cold wind coming down from the North that's doing it. I do hope you all are safe and that this weather coming isn't too destructive.

We have had 9 years of deep drought.. we get up to 110F+ (sometimes 120F) and at this time of year we should be on about 90F by now too.

We have Ice Storms.. we get tennis ball sized hail in some places.....

This deluge is the other end of the spectrum. It isnt over yet.

Sorry to hear about the destruction, if its any consolation we have had the same thing in Sydney a couple of weeks ago with huge numbers of downed trees and flooding. WOW you are having an awful time with your weather. So sorry to here that you are flooded and windswept so much for quite some time now.. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I must be so disheartening seeing so much destruction. Here in Ireland we rarely have mini tornadoes but we have had rain and flooding issues over the last few years.
