HEY! What are those flowers??! I'll trade you some Common Milkweed seeds for some of those! :D LOL, I'll also be sending you some seeds for the perennial Henderson's Shooting Star! (It does love a wet spring, but you can see if it will make it! Our entire hill is COVERED with them in the springtime! www.ipernity.com/search/photo?q=henderson%27s+shooting+star&w=0&t=0&lic=&s=0
Pam J club has replied to Janet Brien clubThe Shooting Stars are beautiful !!! I can try it.. this year they would have made it.. the past 7... doubtful. Can try ! Can try the Milkweed too !
These are "false sunflowers' I just call them sunflowers. They literally grow here everywhere. Like weeds ! Even in drought. I will get some seedheads and send with the others.. they are tinyyyyyy !
Forgot to add... once you have them they spread everywhere... but here it isnt a problem.. and frankly so little gets through the droughts.. I am glad of anything. These self seed once they get going.
Thankyou Monica ! There have been so few butterflies this year here and most places it seems !
