This was taken with my first cheap digital camera.. I still love this and set the shot up with some care. It really was that blue that day. Just a note... I hate "not straight"... BUT.. if I straighten the waterline.. the trees look terrible.. and if like this.. I straighten the trees... well the waterline bugs the heck out of me !! Catch 22 !

Pam, this is wonderful! Love the light, love the shadows, love seeing the lake beyond. Love the colors too! I know what you mean about Catch 22! :D The one thing you can do, if you have Photoshop, is to fix the distortion with Transform. But honestly, this is FINE!! And goes to show, just because they're "cheap ol' point n shoots", doesn't mean you can't get awesome pictures from them. It's much more about the person taking the picture than the price of the camera! Well done! :)

Thankyou Janet... yes.. I do think its the heart in the photograph too... not the equipment.. but that helps too !! Yes... I use PS all the time as I make graphics and elements(and custom cards ) etc. Did try it various ways.. and settled for the tipsy water... Smiles.. I just love the place and the picture.. and that is what its about.. ... *sigh.. the water*
