White Crape Myrtle with Bee

I love the etherial delicacy of the white crape myrtle better than the pink ones.

Here there are many. There is a dark red variety(the OU colours being red and cream... you see it alot !) that I would rather like... but.. we shall see. I have lost major trees to drought here and I am nursing on 9 tiny mixed trees... Most wont make the first five years sadly. DO try again though !!
I hadnt seen them except I photos till I came to the USA...
They are the landscaping tree here as they can cope with drought and heat and ice storms !
Cut them back as they only flower on the new growth.. dont be afraid to hard prune... water.. yes... they need they to encourage flowers.....
They now also do produce smaller varieties... much more shrub sized....
I know what it is like to have to try and coax things in dark places !!! Been there !
