"Ducks' Ditty" by Kenneth Grahame (from The Wind in the Willows)
All along the backwater,
Through the rushes tall,
Ducks are a-dabbling,
Up tails all!
Ducks' tails, drakes' tails,
Yellow feet a-quiver,
Yellow bills all out of sight
Busy in the river!
Slushy green undergrowth
Where the roach swim--
Here we keep our larder,
Cool and full and dim.
Everyone for what he likes!
WE like to be
Heads down, tails up,
Dabbling free!
High in the blue above
Swifts whirl and call--
WE are down a-dabbling
Up tails all!

Perth as seen from one of my windows in Fiona Stanley Hospital.
My apologies for (a) the poor quality of the photograph; and (b) its mundane nature. I've been in this hospital on and off since late January and this is the first picture I've worked on since being discharged. Sorry for my absence.
I hope there are still people on ipernity to see it and join me in thanking all gods, doctors, nurses, researchers and scientists who give us hope, chemotherapy and transplants. Yay for the good guys!
