Swans

"The Last Swans" by Amok Island.
This is the wall of the MAURI flour mill in Northam, WA, right next to the Avon River which runs through the town. The town and its river is home to the only white swans in Australia which breed naturally in the wild. (For those who don't know, our swans are black and can be seen in abundance on rivers, in estuaries and on the sea.) The white swans were introduced to Western Australia in the 1890s.
The mural was completed in late 2020.
