Not just the fence, but the rationale behind the need for the fence (though I can remember that in the 1960s and 70s there was nothing between the meadow and the edge and we just walked merrily along or ran about.) Biggen up the picture by pressing Z.

Wowdy! I am surprised. I thought only the south would have such amazing cliffs ... Was wrong, obviousely!

HFF and a good weekend - and about "soggy": sun for almost 16 hours/day over here and up to 37°C at Saturday ... it's not only fun, really.

Old Owl club has replied to tiabunna club
The cliffs are an RSPB reserve (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds). The RSPB calculates there are about half a million birds there between March and October. Once there were far more but it is still spectacular to see.
