I'd backed over my 20 year old American made Thermos with a forklift. It was an accident. Bought a new one but it's now made in China. First the handle kept falling off which resulted in a few drops. Then the base separated. Finally it lost its vacuum and wouldn't keep anything hot.
I drilled it and put foam in a can between the outside layers which helped, but not much. Thats JB weld smeared over the drill holes. I used that to hold the bottom on too.
I finally wrote em on Facebook and told them what a POS they were.
They sent me 2 new ones.
