Wessington Springs, SD municipal
A friend invited me to his 'milestone' birthday party which was held at his hometown (Huron) so I decided to grab my camera and head up - hadn't seen him or his wife since the pandemic began, so I was more than happy to go.
First up was to check on a couple things at the Wessington Springs muni; they've put another leg of the system underground so there wasn't much new for me to photograph, but I did get a closer look at the former lighting plant - it's more a storage building for the city these days.

I'd suspected I'd seen some glass in the air and I wanted to be sure... I was right. That's a CD 112 Brookfield 'keg' supporting the 6.6A loop.

I didn't realize that the long-idle station service transformer behind the plant was a VERY early cooperative-style unit - note the "REA / CO-OP" stenciling.

Hadn't noticed this before... a very nice cream-colored Locke unipart to support one of the heavily insulated 'banana' jumpers in the 12.5/2400V sub.

Looks like WAPA and the Flandreau municipal are almost done getting ready to bury the backup line. Glad they haven't touched those big GE pellet arresters... yet.

A view of the 12.5kV/4160V transformer on the mountain line, retired after the rebuild to 12.5kV reached the park.
It now seems that as of November 19th, the conversion of the 2400V and 4160V distribution systems and the 22.9kV transmission line into one long 12.5kV/7200V Y circuit has been completed, the last section being the line along Waltonia Road.
