Swedish Bivaque-Bag

I tought that it is some kind of bivy-bag or bivy-hammock but a nice persone from the swedish "Armémuseum" in Stockholm wrote me that it is a stretcher wich would be used in wintertime.
The sewn-on manual describes the use of branches and other nature materials for insulation. In the sides you could stick a branch or some prepared poles, the bag closes with a little hood-compartement above the head so that the person is protected against the cold.

The three Crowns stamped on it is a clear sign for the swedish Army.

It like NEW! Even the leatherstraps are flexible and in very very good condition, i couldnt believe its more than 60 years old...
