The garden is a work of love by the community, located off Stacey Street with the entrance gate in St Giles Passage. This area is the former rookery of St Giles.

Fanny Wilkinson was a landscape and garden designer. She was the first professional female landscape designer in Britain, and responsible for the design and the layout of more than 75 public gardens across London in the late 19th century. Her plaque is in Shaftsbury Avenue in back of James Smith & Son, the famous umbrella store in New Oxford Street.
