Muddy Waters

Taken around 6 p.m. near the Pine Street bridge. The river crested at 15 feet, which is 5 feet above flood stage. It's back down to about 12 feet here. At one point in the day, all the roads over and around the Mill River were closed but for Pine Street, making that the only access to my house. By the time I got home from work, the water had pulled back and the roads were open. This is what happens when there's over 24 hours of non-stop snow and rain, with a sewer break thrown in for extra impact. They're saying it will keep raining for the next three days.
