Macclesfield Bridge

Macclesfield Bridge
The bridge over the Regent's Canal to the north west of the Park was originally called North Gate Bridge but was renamed in honour of Lord Macclesfield, the Chairman of the Regent's Canal Company, who steered it through a financial crisis during its construction. It was blown up in 1874 and rebuilt in 1876. It's now known as the Blow Up Bridge.
