Felix Edmundovich Dzerzhinsky

This statue stands at the KarLag Museum in the village of Dolinka, Kazakhstan. Dzerzhinksy was from 1917 until his death in 1926, the leader of the first two Soviet secret police organizations, the Cheka and the OGPU. The Soviet FED rangfinder camera was named after him.
