My grudnik tells me that winter is coming.
In Poland we call it grudnik (like grudzień - December) because it blooms mostly in December.

Kaktus bożonarodzeniowy or grudnik. Grudnik is definitely easier to pronounce :)
And nobody calls it schlumbergera / szlumbergera - its official name :)
