Now, I do not remember its leaves... but it is something I may check on site.

It was the same over the weekend here in Vienna. But for me - and all the rest of nature - it was a great relief! First rain since almost 20 days, nightly temperatures finally WELL below 20°C (not only around or even above!), day temperature halved - lots of reasons to stay inside and read a good book. ;-))

Now I can certify that you were 100% right, Leon! It is a crack willow for sure. I visited it today and inspected its leaves. Everything matches :)
