In 1409, King Władysław II Jagiełło of Poland ordered a wooden pontoon bridge to be built near Kozienice. The bridge was then moved to Czerwińsk (100 miles down the Vistula river) and in 1410 used by the joint Polish-Lithuanian army to cross the Vistula.
See en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polish-Lithuanian-Teutonic_War
This is a partial replica of the original bridge - to be seen in Kozienice where its story began.
