I tend to think the same, Marta, but the coloured one really speaks to me.
Brown-red tones add to some kind of melancholy, past is gone, worn out and left alone atmosphere and naturally frame the image.
In a way it feels more daring to me in a time where black and white starts to be more popular and easily gets the title 'fine art'.
So far for my humble opinion, thank you for sharing both great images :-)

The shot was taken at the attic of an old wooden house used only in summer by two nice old ladies I happened to visit :) Hence the melancholy, atmosphere... you've got it perfectly right! I am happy about it :)

Ce que j'aime bien ici c'est ce que semble suggérer la confrontation entre le tableau représentant Moïse et les tables de la loi et lespeluches pour enfants. Les idoles sérieuses des adultes qui viennent dominer les petites idoles joyeuses des enfants.....
