Marta Wojtkowska club has replied to MikeinlagardetteThe Branicki family is a magnate family which has made its name in the Polish history. One of the most representative members of the family was Jan Klemens Gryf Branicki who lived in the 18th century and owned 12 towns, 257 villages, 17 palaces and a couple of primeval forests. Wow!
This lovely summer residence was built for him in 1745-1771. It was almost ruined in 1915 and restored only after WWII by local authorities - good thing they did for once!
Thanks!
René, once again you are helping me to discover so many Ipernity groups!
