The Modlin Fortress is situated at the joining point of the Vistula and the Narew rivers.
It is one of the largest 19th century fortresses in Poland and all of Europe.
The Tatar Tower offers a beautiful view of the linking of rivers.

We just managed to talk a security guard into letting us go to the top roof of the tower (strictly forbidden!) when a summer storm came and chased us away...
