The windmill and the barn were painted in black, the sky was quite bright, and my flatbed Epson's drivers failed the case. So I used Vuescan which gave me the option to make several passes and extract some information from blacks. But there are more details in these parts of the frame - one can see them at the negative with one's naked eye :)
