It is a collection of leather shoes dug up during the latest renovation works from under the surface of the streets surrounding the main market in Tykocin. Some of the shoes here are dated back to the 15th century. They are part of an exhibition at the Tykocin Synagogue.

Wonderful idea and most interesting artifacts :)
After visiting the exhibition one walks the streets and imagines all these people who lived there so long ago.
