DESY 2000

DESY - Deutsches Electron Synchrotron. I remember the Mensa had pretty decent food. It's a pretty wide-spread institution with workshops, lecture halls, the storage rings, particle detectors deep under ground... pretty neat. However my interests have changed a bit. Nowadays I care more for the technology used than what the experiment actually is. If I hear machines happily humming along, I'm happy. That's all I need. They could be drilling holes in Haribo Gold-Bears (candy) with gear that is worth billions, I don't care - as long as it works to specifications! Located in Hamburg, Germany.
