A male mosquito - about to die

I usually don't approve of violence, but when faced with mosquitoes or other bloodsuckers, I turn into a merciless killer.
It had the chance to fly away, but even the flash didn't disturb it. Darwin Award!
White Wagtail
Scarlet Minivet
Roseate Tern

Mr. Pigeon hasn't met Mr. Hawk yet. Otherwise he wouldn't choose such an exposed spot.

I didn't eat it. It hat unwisely chosen to glue itself to a concrete wall in direct sunlight. I removed it and another one of its species and administered a few drops of water just in case. Killed by sand

Today I found this little bird on my window sill. I think it broke its neck crashing into the window - the curtains have been taken off.
My place looks like a dark hole from the outside, so I wonder why a little bird would want to go there at full speed.
There's also no cats up here, but maybe bigger birds were chasing it.
Se you in hell my friend.
