The main attraction was of course the Space Center, but we also payed a shorter visit to some art gallery and to the zoo which was near by. Or maybe it was the Museum of Natural Science. That one would be just across the street - and I remember crossing a street and walking over some sort of green slope down towards a pyramid shape.
