I am absolutely becoming curious to find out what is your post processing process used on this series, Luc. So very vivid colors!

Darktable 3.02
Do you want me to introduce you ?
Such a versatile and powerful program
Different from anything else despite it could be compared to RawTherapee and therefore we have to master it by trial & error but totally free

Turned out I already have Darktable on my Ubuntu Linux laptop, but is is an earlier version 2 dot something. So, time to update and find out more about it. I had a quick spin with that old version, and I finally figured out how it works. I did not know about all the "hidden" modules, which one can add or remove based on the need.

And yes, very different approach compared to many other software. Most notable is the absence of main title bar menu.

Hi

:-)
Menus, yep it is more o a "piling bricks" system I assume
I consider it is really underestimated and very very probably underused (if such a word exists)

I keep discovering interesting things like you can duplicate a module to get a stronger effect.

(NB You probably need less than 10 modules to get to a pro level I would say)

Avoiding french tutos this guy speaks in a relaxed & clear way

On my side I feel dead frustrated about the time required for nearly each action even with a workstation with 32Gb Ram. And the lack of a bar filling to indicate how much time to wait.
It definitely lacks clarity

and at the same time I feel dazzled by such degree of refinement explained from here >

Let's keep in touch ! & don't hesitate to ask if you don't find one "function" - - - ok ?

Have a nice evening/night Sami !

Excellent tutorials from Bruce Williams! Thanks for sharing.

As said, I still have DarkTable 2, and I probably would have to upgrade my Ubuntu 16.04 LTS to 18.04 LTS in order to get DarkTable 3.

Well, I can of course get along with version 2 as well, but I discovered that for example perspective module is not yet implemented into it.

And yes, let's keep on sharing ideas. My summer vacation starts soon. So, hopefully I also have more time to spend around here.

On my part I'll be more free after 10th of July
but still like to discuss exchange & discover

Have a nice afternoon my friend :-)
