Volcán de Garachico (HDR)
También llamado Volcán de Arenas Negras o Trevejo, es un edifico volcánico que está situado en Noroeste de la isla de Tenerife, en el Dorsal de Teno. Erupcionó por última vez en 1706 y tuvo una duración de 58 días. Sus atroces coladas se llevaron por delante el hasta entonces floreciente pueblo de Garachico, afectando al desarrollo histórico, económico y artístico del municipio.

Fantastsich. Und Stephan hat's ja schon den tollen kontrast mit dem grün erwähnt. Entlanggelaufen bin ich dort leider noch nicht. Ich war noch nie auf den Kanaren, geplant war es mal zu meinem 40. geburtstag, aber dann hatte ich die grippe bekommen und musste die reise stornieren. Und irgendwie hat es sich bisher nie wieder ergeben, aber im rentenalter wird's. Ist ja nicht mehr lange ;-)
