Soweit liegst du mit deiner Vermutung nicht daneben Lutz.Das Schloss ist nämlich noch gar nicht nicht so alt:

Es wurde von Friedrich Attenhuber (1877–1947) gestaltet, einem Zeitgenossen Eschers. Der Künstler erlitt anders als Escher ein tragisches Ende:
