Description: This jug, with grazing goats and bold lotus flowers painted on a cream-colored slip, is typical of the so-called Wild Goat Style. The motifs are derived from Near Eastern art, which dominated East Greek pottery from the mid-seventh century through the first quarter of the sixth century B.C.
