03-11-2024 we say farewell to this comet, it will return in 80.000 years Canon 700D f=85 mm, f.1.4, ISO 800 T=100x20 sec. tracked. The main picture is the whole field of view. PiP 1 shows a cropped version. It shows the extent of the tail. PiP 2 shows the motion of the comet . On november 2 the weather conditions were not perfect, on november 3 they were, whence the quality difference.

24-10-2024. A combination of 4 exposures Becomes more difficult to find the comet but it is in an area of the night sky I know well. The ellips shaped starconfiguration on the left turns up in many Milkyway pictures.

22-10-2024. The comet is moving in the direction of the Milkyway (left area of the picture). Altair, a bright star can be used as a reference to find the comet. Canon700D with f=17 mm, field of view ~ 70x50 degrees (the size of the full Moon is 1/2 degree)

22-10-2024, endlich wieder eine Gelegenheit den Kometen zu fotografieren. Schon wesentlicht schwächer als vor eine Woche aber immer noch relativ leicht zu finden. In diese ZW Bearbeitung ist der Schweif und Gegenschweif deutlich zu sehen. Der Schweif hat eine Länge von ~10 grad (i.e 20 Mond Diameter) Canon 700 D mit f=50 mm
