N 6939 and 6946

A nice spiral galaxy, N 6946, and an open starcluster, N 6939 in one field. The open starcluster is in our Milkyway, the spiral galaxy is 4000 times further away and is as big as our Milkyway.
Canon 700D attached to a small refractor, f=360 mm, f/6.0. T=200 x 30 sec and ISO = 3200. Tracked with a telescope mount.
This is an improvement of previous pictures I got of this pair (see PiP), but it still shows some smal tracking errors. So it will keep me busy.
I put this in the Wereldfotografiedag group because this type of fotography is not done by many Ip members and it is my passion.

Ko Hummel club has replied to Christa1004 clubI love seeing your images and the ones from the Hubble telescope and now from the James Webb. You represent an important photographic direction. And you even have the spiral galaxy.
How do you choose which direction in the sky you will photograph? Do you study star charts? What is your emotional reaction to your successful photos?
Happy World Photography Day (belated).
Ko Hummel club has replied to raingirl clubIt feels realy good that after a night sesion and the processing of the material end in a nice picture. I feel privileged to be able and value these kind of pictures
