An Orion triptychon
Two sets of exposures, one centered on the Horsehead nebula (left) and one on the Orion nebula (right). Both sets are a combination of 50 exposures with a Canon 700D, f=200 mm, f/4,0, T=30 sec and ISO 1600. Tracking was done by a Newton reflector.
The picture in the middle is a combination of the two sets and shows the correct geometry. The two brightest stars belong to the belt of Orion.
